Various processes require a wide and flexible mixer configuration portfolio. Mixtec has suitable sealing solutions for gasses, corrosive, toxic, hot medias at atmospheric, high pressures or vacuum. We take into account the process conditions as well as conditions on site to supply a safe and low maintenance mixer seal.
Depending on the process requirements, our clients can choose an optimal sealing solution:
- simple lip seal or gland packing for ease of maintenance,
- single mechanical seal,
- double cartridge mechanical seals,
- moat seal.
The mechanical seals can be either of a dry running configuration or a liquid / gas lubricated type. The mechanical seals can be supplied with simple fail-safe seal support systems (Safeunit) or complex engineered support systems depending on the in-vessel contents, pressure and temperature.
The standard drive configuration is possible for pressure up to 2000 kPa and with the aid of an auxiliary seal bearing pedestal up to 6000 kPa working pressure.
Rugged cartridge seal housings ensure that minimum deflection and extended seal life are guaranteed. Autoclave seals are available in two variants. One with a bearing to steady the shaft and impart the upward axial force into the mounting plate and the other without a bearing that allows the axial force up into the gearbox.
For smaller units a swivel stool configuration is available for quick and easy maintenance.
